The Rotax MAX Challenge™ (RMC) is a motorsport race formula for racing karts. The Untied States Northern RMC series is approved and administered by J3 Competition whereby competitors use checked and sealed Rotax MAX engines for equal performance, where driving skills make the difference!

More than 7,500 active Rotax MAX drivers are in the RMC program around the world and a further 7,500 kart racers are following the basic rules of the RMC – the “Rotax Sporting and Technical Regulations” and using a mandatory type of tyres: MOJO^®.  The Northern USA RMC program aims at growing the participation level of Karting in the United States through providing a proven structure whereby competitors utilize high-performance engines that provide long-life ensuring competitors enjoy competition at high speeds, not high budgets.

As a renowned leader in the world of karting for over 15 years , J3 Competition has a strong focus on the distribution and service of the Rotax product family (Rotax Max, MOJO tires, XPS Lubricants).  Through its service and distribution, J3 aims to work with its existing and new partners in the market to grow the sport of karting while enabling local clubs, race tracks and organizers the opportunity to promote events and RMC series individually within their perspective geographical regions.

For 2019, the Northern United States RMC program will see participation in all four of its dedicated regions (Northwest, Mountain, Mid-Am, Northeast).  Additionally, each region’s point structure will be merged for an overall National points structure, a concept pioneered by Rotax Racing in the early 2000’s! Finally for 2019  J3 Competition will host two separate three-day events (Stars & Stripes Trophy/Open) where participating drivers will have the opportunity to compete for a position on their country’s team and compete at the 2019 Rotax Grand Finals in Sarno, Italy (The pinnacle of Karting)!
