EVENT NOTICE US ROTAX GRAND NATIONALS

With the ever the uncertain times the world is under now due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 US Rotax Grand Nationals will maintain its original scheduled dates of July 2-5, however the event will move from Pitt International Raceway to the Charlotte Motor Speedway. In a collaborative effort with World Karting Association (WKA) the move was made possible with the intent to stabilize the karting industry during these challenging times will still providing a world-class venue and event.
The event itself will operate on reconstructed famous .7 of a mile circuit located within turns 3 and 4 of the speedway complex under the management of Stars & Stripes Rotax Racing. The challenging track arguably made North American karting iconic as in the late 90’s it hosted the then North America Championships where drivers such as; Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Davide Fore, Marco Ardigo and Jenson Button took to the circuit.
For the Charlotte karting facility in just its first year back in action to host the world famous US Rotax Grand Nationals is something very special as it also marks the 100 years of Rotax! Full event information is available on the www.RaceRotax.com website as final links such as hotel bookings and other logistical information will be coming live very soon. Full event registration is open and live with the full opportunity for drivers to start registering and placing their orders for such items as fuel, oil, and tire vouchers.
